Security chains

New timber doors all have the option to include a security chain – available in brass and chrome.  

Escutcheons

The escutcheon guards the door against key scratches and provides a ‘lip’, useful for closing the door. Available in one of three colours; brass, chrome and black for simple coordination with trims and accessories. These are suitable for all styles of front door.

Thresholds

Robust and hard wearing thresholds finished in a choice of three colours; black, silver or gold.

Spy glasses

A spy glass is an easy way to keeping safe, available in two colours, brass and chrome.  Can be fitted into most new timber doors at any height.

Door knobs

Two styles of round  doorknobs for the town house, a large one and a small one. Both available in brass and chrome.

Letterboxes

Choose from 7 finishes to coordinate with existing accessories and colour schemes. black, brass, chrome, satin chrome, bright bronze, satin bronze & white finishes available – simple and functional design well made  for a long life.

Stained glass & leaded lights

Stained glass based on authentic Victorian designs for a personal touch that is in keeping with original features. This is a great way to add a decorative feature to an entrance door that still allows natural light in whilst retaining privacy and adding to the character of the property.

Leaded Lights are also available.

Obscure glass patterns

For front doors, French doors or bathroom windows that need a little privacy, obscure glass offers just that whilst retaining the natural light in the room.

The pattern is more than just visual, it determines the level of privacy, the heavier patterns distort more than the lighter ones.

Meeting rails and astragals – glazing bars

Add character and simple style to new windows and the glazed sections of new doors with meeting rails and glazing bars. These replicate original styles from different periods and add interest to a plain window. 

If matching windows or doors whilst restoring a property, the glazing bars are available in different sizes – these are faithful to the originals found in all properties from Victorian to modern day.

When designing new windows or doors for a total replacement or new installation then the number of bars used is completely up to you – create Georgian squares with vertical and horizontal bars or just choose one of the other. 

The glazing bars can be finished in the colour(s) of your choice, complementing and enhancing your property.

Door handles

The die-case zinc handles have a solid feel to them, they are sculpted for a comfortable grip and have long lasting components for smooth and reliable operation. These ergonomic door handles are constructed to avoid lever attacks and are finished with matching coloured screws – door handles that offer security, durability and reliability, just pick the colour.

The door handles sit very comfortably with all styles of front door, patio doors, bi-folding and stable doors, choose from one of five colours: chrome, satin, bronze, smoke and gold.
